ABOUT TEREN
A place to look closely
Understand a pool, test an assumption, and follow the evidence.
Why this exists
Providing liquidity changes the tokens you own. Fees, price moves and costs all affect the outcome. Teren gives you a place to explore those mechanics before drawing a conclusion.
It began as an experiment and is growing around one useful loop: learn an idea, test it with your own assumptions, then inspect a recorded example.
Choose your starting point
- Learn offers short lessons with predictions, explanations and follow-up situations. Hints are part of learning; you do not need to calculate an answer.
- Experiment lets you change prices, ranges and fee assumptions. Each result belongs to the setup you supplied.
- Inspect shows pool and position accounting from a recorded block. Historical cases follow a fixed position through a verified period.

The name
Teren takes its name from τέρεν, the Pontic Greek word for “look.” It reflects the founder’s Pontic roots and a simple approach to understanding DeFi: look closely, test your assumptions, and examine what happens.
The wordmark keeps the name at the centre. Its companion symbol is an open, stylized t.
How it is made
Teren is an open-source project maintained by Apostolos Provatidis ↗. It runs in your browser, with read-only Ethereum data and no wallet connection. Saved experiments and learning progress stay in this browser unless you export or share them.
Read the methods for the differences between hypothetical models, recorded snapshots and verified historical accounting. The source code ↗ is available under the MIT license.
